New York City is practically closed now as it citizens were asked to evacuate to a safer place and businesses including its subway, which is the biggest in the US, were told to shut down to prevent the massive destruction that mega hurricane Irene is predicted to bring to the area. This clearly shows the huge value of getting advanced information such as an accurate weather report.
