    In the New York York City Marathon this year, there will be over forty thousand people of all shapes and sizes that would be partaking in the annual and world famous event.

    Probably in an attempt to drop a few pounds, at least, the vast majority of entrants are simply average Americans that are running for the love of the race, and the fun of the event, though the field does feature quite several elite athletes.

    Considered to be the world's largest Marathon event is this one in particular, ever since 1970.
